“The set up is lovely and your warmth and enthusiasm is just what the kids need to allow their love for music to flourish!”

“We’ll be signing up our son again for Saturday Music School next term. He really loves it!

A warm welcome and a nurturing environment. What will your child learn?

Children engage in singing, dance, body movement, playing percussion instruments, listening to live instrumental performances given by our Tutors, discovering the sounds & instruments of the orchestra, colouring projects, reading and writing music, musical maths, composition, rhythmic & melodic transcription and lots of other fun, stimulating musical activities.

Saturday Music School format

Creative, fun, engaging, inspiring!

Using our acclaimed series of Chelsea Quavers Music Puzzles, your child will be taught rhythmic and melodic performance on a variety of percussion instruments.

Your child will also learn reading and writing of music, transcription (writing down a rhythm or melody that is performed), listening to music from the Baroque period to modern day, composer focus, and exploring wonderful pieces such as Saint Saëns’ “Carnival of the Animals”, and Benjamin Britten’s “Young Persons’ Guide to the Orchestra”.
