We prepare pupils for the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Grade 5 Theory exam through focused, 1:1 accelerated and intensive tuition.

Grade 5 Theory is a compulsory requirement for progression to ABRSM Grade 6, 7 and 8 Practical and Performance exams. For many pupils, it becomes a barrier at the point they are ready to move forward.

Our accelerated summer tuition is designed to address this directly, enabling pupils to complete the Grade 5 Theory exam within a clear and structured timeframe over the summer holidays.

Personally taught by Principal, Claire Meyer, drawing on over 30 years’ experience successfully preparing pupils for ABRSM Grade 5 Theory.

Our Approach to get results

We specialise in preparing pupils for the ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam to tight deadlines through 1:1 accelerated tuition.

Each pupil follows a tailored programme of weekly teaching, supported by guided homework and structured exam preparation. Lessons are delivered online, allowing for flexibility and consistency over the summer period.

Strong emphasis is placed on past papers, exam technique, and developing the accuracy and confidence required for a successful exam outcome.

This approach is particularly effective for pupils working towards a specific exam deadline over the summer holidays.

The summer holidays provide an ideal window to complete Grade 5 Theory without the competing demands of school.

Pupils may attend on an intensive basis or follow a regular weekly schedule, depending on their availability and starting point.

Our aim is to ensure each pupil is fully prepared and ready to sit the ABRSM Grade 5 Theory exam before the start of the new academic year.
